Trebbiano D'Abruzzo

Descrizione immagine

It is believed that the presence of the Trebbiano vines in central Italy have been there since Roman times, although there are no historical certainties. The historical presence of the Trebbiano varietal in Abruzzo dates back to 1550.

The Trebbiano vines have large clusters more or less winged, compact or very compact, and pyramidal shape. It ripens mid to late harvest.  The wines are pale yellow in color, more or less intense, with hints of greenish reflections. It gives off perfumes that are more or less intense, and persistent aromas of fruit and flowers, with a typical aftertaste of bitter almonds.  The wines are refined in oak, both in small barrels and in larger vats which produces an excellent balance of aromas and flavors.
