Descrizione immagine

It is a vine of uncertain origin that belongs to the ancient Trebbiano classification and has been present for a long time in the regions of central Italy (the Marche and Abruzzo in particular), where it is probably also known under different names. The grape cluster is medium, long, cylindrical-pyramidal, often winged, that is widely spaced or sparse. It ripens prematurely, around the second week of September. It yields a good quantity per hectare. In all its purity after vinification, one obtains a wine that stands out  with a straw yellow color and light golden or greenish reflections; it gives off intense and persistent aromas of flowers and fruit, especially that of apple, banana, and spices. It is mildly acidic, slightly bitter and has a good structure.
